The uniqueness of Sarcidano

Departing from Mandas, a pretty village in the duchy of the same name, the train will travel through the Sarcidano region in a northerly direction. He snorts and whistles among rolling hills planted with wheat and vineyards. It passes the roadman's houses and overlooks the Barbagia di Seulo, with various points of view on the lake of the middle Flumendosa, the largest river in Sardinia.
A stop will allow us to get off the train and discover the history of this artificial basin and these border places, beyond which the Romans never really managed to conquer Sardinia.
At the end of the morning we will briefly retrace our steps until reaching the village of Orroli, where we will spend a few hours discovering the agro-pastoral traditions of these areas, among museums and many ethnographic finds. The lunch menu will be rich and comfortably served, for an unforgettable experience.
After lunch we will take the train back to Mandas station in the late afternoon, having fun and enriched by unexpected curiosities.
